I AM DISPATCHING ORDERS


Firstly I'd like to thank you all my customers that have placed orders with me recently, for your support and patience during these extraordinary times. You will be able to find shipping and supply updates on this page.

My weekly posting day is THURSDAY each week, but if you need something delivered at short notice please let me know and I will do my best to help you.

I use eco-friendly reusable, biodegradable and recyclable wrapping for all my creations.

Dispatch

The current very high demand for delivery networks mean that whilst the vast majority of small untracked postal deliveries are arriving in a reasonable time, some depots around the country are struggling and as a result a number of postal deliveries are severely delayed. I am sending out orders every Thursday, my posting day, as usual at this time, but if you need something delivered at short notice please let me know and I will do my best to help you.

Customer Service

Please note that I am experiencing a very high number of emails and there may be delays in response times. Please bear with me, currently I am responding within 48 hours.

Tracking Orders

I always send my creations out with a signed for/tracking service (excluding small cards orders). You will be provided a tracking number once I have posted your item/s on posting day Thursday so that you can track your parcel as usual.  

You can track your parcel either via:  your Elizabeth Shewan online Orders History Page Account OR  the Royal Mail Tracking Service . In certain circumstances a different carrier is used, you will be advised of their details and tracking when I send your parcel out to you.   Please allow up to 24 hours from the time you receive your dispatch confirmation email before tracking.  

If you are awaiting a non-tracked delivery for smaller items and you have received your dispatch confirmation, your order will be on it's way on the Thursday after your order. P

Please allow the postal service more time to deliver your package at this time.

Delivery for international postal orders is handled by UK postal services up until the point it arrives at the destination country. It is then usually taken over by local postal services. If your parcel qualifies for a tracking number, the number you receive will enable you to track your order both while it is in the UK and once it is received by local postal services in the destination country.  Not all services are trackable. If you require a tracked service please contact me before purchase to discuss.

UK Shipping

All delivery guarantees are currently suspended, however, I am doing our best to maintain them.  

UK post and courier companies are reporting huge nationwide demand for home delivery and this is putting strain on their usual delivery speed. Please bear with them.    

Latest - If you are experiencing extreme weather in your area it is likely deliveries will be delayed (including Next Days).

Shipping to Outside the UK

If you would like me to post something to you outside the UK at the moment I ask you to please contact me before you plan to make an online purchase.  I can organise a shipment quote for you, Brexit will have an impact on this process, goods are taking much longer to pass through UK customs.

EU deliveries, delivery companies are continuing to experience technical issues at EU customs with commodity codes. This has resulted in some parcels being returned, so at this time we have decided to halt the service until a smooth service can be guaranteed.

Orders under 22 euros can be sent via post and are VAT and Duty free.

Rest of the World deliveries,  some delivery services are not operating in certain areas at this time, so it may not be possible to ship to your address due to restrictions.  Please be aware services may face delays due to the effects of the pandemic in processing, delivery and clearing Customs depending on your parcel's destination.

Contact Elizabeth to organise a custom quote for shipping to your country. For customers outside of the United Kingdom - additional duties and/or import taxes may apply to your order upon arrival into your country, depending on your local country tax and customs laws.

Royal Mail Parcel Safety Statement

Returns Made Easy

Royal Mail now make returns easy. You can simply drop your pre-paid item into any Post Office and visit royalmail.com to track your return. 

Signatures required on Delivery

Signed For and Special Delivery needs a signature - I send everything  (expect small card orders) Signed For due to their value.   However, if you are not in at the time of delivery the postman will leave a calling card that will give you the chance to rebook the delivery online to a day that is convenient for you, pick it up from your local collection office, or I you will also give you the opportunity to arrange a different address for it to be redelivered.

At this time I am working from home in my art studio. My online orders are still running as usual with possible delivery delays in transit. My online store is open online 24/7, where service remains uninterrupted.

Readings and Healings

All my healing sessions are now online only held via Skype, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, WhatsApp or Zoom. I am following government safety guidelines as we go in and out of lockdown etc.

Elizabeth Shewan's Work Safety Statement

Whilst doing everything possible for the wellbeing of our community, customers, and associates I'm continuing as best as I can to deliver my creations. I practice social distancing at all times and take great care with my paintings and jewellery etc when it comes to cleaning/disinfecting them etc before sending them on to you.

I totally understand if you would like me to then hold on to your purchase/s in my studio for you until we are 'out the other side'. Send me an email after your purchase to arrange this.

I do not travel via public transport at any time. I'm currently trading normally but will continue to review this in the light of advice from the government, continuing developments with the pandemic.

Works of Art in the form of paintings, greetings cards or jewellery is not essential in regard to physical health but I do believe each creation plays an important role in our mental wellbeing, especially as most people are now in isolation. The current government guidelines encourage online businesses such as mine to stay open. I continue to monitor government advice as soon as it is published and I will act accordingly when instructed.
